Museum of Human Goals
Concept
The Museum of Human Goals is a unique cultural and social project where art, psychology, philosophy, and technology converge around a universal idea: every person has a goal, and its expression through art becomes part of history.
Format:
• The visual metaphor of a target.
• Visitors’ participation by leaving their goal (“My Goal is…”).
• A living archive of aspirations — from spontaneous street actions (since 2014) to a full-scale museum space.
⸻
Mission
To preserve a unique living archive of human goals of our contemporaries and, through art, to inspire visitors toward awareness, self-discovery, and action.
⸻
Exhibition
On Kunstmatrix, a series of 28 social paintings by Andrii Chernovil is presented.
Each work is a visual statement about the individual’s place in society, their hopes, fears, and contradictions.
The visual code of the exhibition is the target as a universal symbol of meaning-seeking and self-identification.
⸻
Uniqueness of the Project
1. A Museum That Came to the People
• Since 2014, the project has existed as a “traveling museum,” appearing in unexpected places — streets, highways, galleries, museums, universities, and public events.
• Phenomenon: over 9 million views of photos on Google Maps without a physical building.
2. Interactivity
• Every visitor becomes a co-author by leaving their goal.
• The collection becomes a socio-cultural archive of the era.
3. The Target Symbol
• Recognizable across all cultures and ages.
• Functions both as an artistic image and a tool for self-reflection.
• Slogan: “My Goal is…” — a portrait of our time.
4. Fusion of Art and Psychology
• The project combines contemporary art, motivation, and elements of art therapy.
• Each participant records their personal story in time and space.
5. Digital Presence
• Strong footprint in Google Maps, social media, and photo-video archives.
• An online museum with an international exhibition history.
⸻
Value of the Collection
• Cultural heritage: a 10-year archive of human goals as a mirror of our time.
• Artistic uniqueness: a synthesis of symbolism, social themes, and contemporary art.
• Social significance: documenting the hopes, fears, and desires of society.
